Delta Spirit leader Matt Vasquez is part of Middle Brother who released one of my favourite albums of this year with their self-titled debut, but next year Delta Spirit are returning with the release of their third album. The album will simply be called Delta Spirit and Vasquez claims that the reasoning behind it being self-titled is that they've "found the sound that [they]'ve been looking for, that [they]'ve been growing into".
Delta Spirit will be released on March 13, 2012 via Rounder Records and it was recorded Dreamland Recording Studios in Woodstock, NY and it was produced by Chris Coady. Nothing's been released from the record yet, but Delta Spirit are offering their 2006 debut ep I Think I've Found It as a free download in exchange for an email address - just use the widget below.
