Kurt Vile & The Violators are currently touring the UK, and tonight they're playing Stereo in Glasgow with Woods and I'll be in attendence. Today Vile also announced the release of a new ep called So Outta Reach and a deluxe version of his Smoke Ring For My Halo lp, both to be released on November 7 via Matador, but you can listen to the teaser track "The Creature" right now, below. The ep consists of tracks recorded for Smoke Ring For My Halo but left off the final album, plus a cover of Bruce Springsteen's classic "Downbound Train".
