I've been a fan of Sharon Van Etten since seeing her open for The National the past Spring and she's now finally announced the release of her third lp. Almost two weeks ago we posted the video for London indie rockers Fanzine's "Roman Holiday", and on Monday the 7" single for "Roman Holiday" was releaed by Fat Possum. The single is actually a double A-side with "My Stupid Brain" brain being the "other" track, and yesterday Fanzine were kind enough to make the it available through their Soundcloud.
Girls are releasing a new limited stand-alone single with the song "Lawrence", only months after their excellent Father, Son, Holy Ghost album. The 7" single will be in the shape of a heart and it'll be released on December 6, but you can stream the track already. It's quite good, but not really worthy of inclusion on the album - listen for yourselves below and read the story behind the song here.

Korallreven's debut full-length An Album by Korallreven is set for release next Tuesday on Acéphale, but you can now finally stream the complete album. Korallreven has released several singles preceding the album release and they've gotten an insane amount of attention, being the most blogged about artist on Hype Machine several times now, and for once it's actually deserved - An Album by Korallreven is one of the finest albums you'll hear this year. Listen to the full album below.
Earlier this week My Morning Jacket stopped by Later...with Jools Holland to perform "Holdin' On To Black Metal", taken from their new album Circuital, and as part of the lengthened Jools Holland episode on Friday night we got videos of the band performing two more songs; "First Light" and "You Wanna Freak Out". The performances prove that the band is one of the very finest live acts around these days, even making lesser album tracks into something really special when performing live. Check out both songs below (via Some Kind Of Awesome).
Los Angeles garage pop duo Bleached stopped by Fuel TV's The Daily Habit on Tuesday to perform their latest single "Searching Through The Past". Watch their Daily Habit-performance below (via Consequence of Sound).
Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop just released one of the strongest releases I've heard this year in the Nights Like This EP and in late October they stopped by Swedish tv-show PSL to record a video session, performing the track "Manners" from the ep. "Manners" was co-written with Robyn-producer Patrik Berger and it is arguably the strongest track on the ep. Check out the video below, and listen to the studio version of the track by using the Soundcloud player.
