I was introduced to Badlands by Oskar at No Modest Bear yesterday and I'm definitely impressed. Badlands is the new project by Niklas Tjäder from Vidderna (whom I haven't heard yet either, but they're definitely on my to-do list after hearing this) and Catharina Jaunviksna and so far they've only released one track called "Never Dry Out", which you can stream below.
"Never Dry Out" is taken from their upcoming debut EP Battles Within. Niklas Tjäder is also Korallreven's touring guitarist, as well as the brother of Korallreven/The Radio Dept. keyboardist Daniel Tjäder. Listen to "Never Dry Out" below.
