One of the most promising new artists around these days is the Swedish pop singer-songwriter Faye who until today was known as under her birth name Fanny. Faye is set to released her second single "Water Against The Rocks" on June 25 and it's the follow-up to her debut single "Come To Me" which was released earlier this year via Hybris.
Faye was today unveiled as the third signing to Best Fit Recordings and "Water Against The Rocks" will be released internationally via Best Fit Recordings/Cooperative Music, and in July a 7" with "Water Against The Rocks" backed by "Come To Me" will be released. You can listen to the radio edit of "Water Against The Rocks" below, it's quite brilliant and it's certainly promising in regards to her coming debut record.
Fanny turned in very good performance the past Saturday at Saltsjöbar here in Stockholm and today two new shows were unveiled; on June 27 at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen in London with Azure Blue and at Debaser Slussen here in Stockholm on June 30. Highly recommended.
