MP3: Teen Daze - "Brooklyn Sunburn"
I've got to admit that I was completely unfamiliar with Teen Daze until being sent his new track "Brooklyn Sunburn" last night, and I'm quite impressed. It's taken from his upcoming debut full-length All Of Us, Together which will be released via Lefse on May 22. Before that he'll be playing here in Stockholm at Debaser Slussen together with Brothertiger on April 6. Check out "Brooklyn Sunburn" below.

Interview: Howlin Rain
I first discovered Howlin Rain back in 2008, around the release of their second lp Magnificent Fiend, and since then they've released one ep titled The Good Life in 2010 but now they're finally returning with a full-length album, The Russian Wilds, and it's definitely a good one.
The Russian Wilds will be released on Valentine's Day in the US while Europe have to wait until March and so far they've only unveiled one track from the album, the seven-minute long cinematic "Phantom In The Valley" - a track everyone should listen to. Howlin Rain leader Ethan Miller was kind enough to talk a bit with us regarding the new record, Rick Rubin, their influences, the live shows and his pre-Howlin Rain band Comets On Fire.
Watch: The Weeknd - "Montreal"

I've previously posted about L.A. garage rock duo Bleached and their excellent single "Searching Through The Past", and a while back they released a video by Molly Schiot for the track, but I didn't get around to watching it until today. It's quite good, and the song is great, so give it a watch below.

MP3: Bowerbirds - "In The Yard"
In December I posted "Tuck The Darkness In", the first track from the Bowerbirds' upcoming third lp The Clearing, and it's definitely one of the finest teaser tracks I've heard from an album in some time. Earlier today Pitchfork shared a second track from the album; "In The Yard", and it's almost as good.

Full album stream: Chuck Prophet - Temple Beautiful
Well, Chuck Prophet's new album Temple Beautiful has been one of the album's I've been the most excited about lately, especially considering how strong "Castro Halloween", the first single from the album, was. The album will be released next week, on February 6, via Yep Roc and my friends over at The Line of Best Fit's got the exclusive premiere of the album.
Full album stream: Sharon Van Etten - Tramp
Sharon Van Etten's new album Tramp has long been one of the album's I've been the most excited about and today you can finally give the album a listen in full, and it surely delivers. Tramp will be released via Jagjaguwar next week, on February 7, and it's probably her best album so far, and without a doubt one of the strongest releases of this young year.

Watch: Wilco – "Dawned On Me" (official video)
A couple of days ago Wilco released the video for "Dawned On Me", which is taken their very good The Whole Love (released last year). The video is something special indeed featuring the classic cartoon character Popeye and it's "the first hand-drawn Popeye cartoon in more than 30 years". The video was created in collaboration with King Features and it's directed by Darren Romanelli. Watch it below, it's just great.
