Listen: Culkin - "Libbets Casey"
The Swedish indie rock band Culkin will be releasing their debut record Several Sundays on March 7 via HaHa FONOGRAM and earlier today and you can listen to the first single from the album, "Libbets Casey", below. Culkin opened for Yuck here in Stockholm in October last year and it's easy to see why when listening to the track - they belong in the same corner of the room as Yuck and Fanzine.

MP3: Father John Misty - "Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings"
Awhile back we revealed that now-former Fleet Foxes drummer Joshua Tillman would be releasing a new solo album titled Fear Fun in May, although this one will be released under the name Father John Misty. Since then the first track from the album has been unveiled; it's titled "Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings" and it's very good indeed. Plus it doesn't sound much like Fleet Foxes or Tillman's previous solo work which is cool as it's still very good. Give it a listen and a download below.

Watch: Niki & The Dove - "The Fox" (official video)
Niki & The Dove are definitely on a roll here, everything they've released for the past couple of months has been absolutely golden. They've now released a video for their single "The Fox", which was originally released by Sub Pop on 12" vinyl in June last year and it's set to appear on their upcoming full-length debut as well. The video is animated, and it's great. Watch it below.

Watch: Azure Blue - "Seasons" (official video)
I've previously covered Azure Blue a bit on here, and last week he released a music video for the track "Seasons" off his debut record Rule of Thirds. Rule of Thirds was released via Hybris late last year and it's one of the finest indie pop records I've heard in awhile, and as you can still listen to it for free here you really don't have any excuse not to listen. Plus he just won the "best pop" award at the Swedish independent music gala Manifest, beating Korallreven, Loney Dear and Jonathan Johansson. The video for "Seasons" was directed by Mattias Erik Johansson and you can watch it below.

Listen: The Shins - "September"

Almost a month ago I posted the first single from The Shins' upcoming album Port of Morrow; "Simple Song", and next week it'll be released physically as a vinyl single with the b-side "September". While "Simple Song" is a piece of latter day The Who-styled classic rock "September" is a lot more stripped down. Watch the lyrics video for the track below.
Watch: Idiot Wind - "The Whole Of The Moon" & "The End/Cambodia Medley" (live on Swedish TV 3/2-2012)
On Friday the 27th of January The Tallest Man On Earth guested the Swedish tv show På Spåret to perform covers of Thin Lizzy's "Dancing In The Moonlight (It's Caught Me In Its Spotlight)" and of the Swedish singer-songwriter Cornelis Vreeswijk's "En Fattig Trubadur". The past Friday it was Idiot Wind's turn to guest the show and she in turn performed an excellent version of The Waterboys' "The Whole Of The Moon" and a medley of The Doors' "The End" and Kim Wilde's "Cambodia". Watch both performances below.

Listen: Markus Hulthén - "Åka Bil"
Back in November I wrote about Mackaper member Markus Hulthén's "Visa Från Svedmyra", from his new solo project, and now he's released another track called "Åka Bil". If you're feeling doubtful due to the Swedish songtitles there's no need, this is all instrumental folk music - the organ-heavy, psychedelic and very good kind. Listen to "Åka Bil" below.
