The mysterious new act Elliphant dropped her first track in mid-February, the excellent "In The Jungle," and now she returns with a second one called "TeKKno Scene.""TeKKno Scene" features the Swedish rapper Adam Kanyama, often labeled as the most promising rapper in Sweden right now, and like "In The Jungle" you'll surely think of M.I.A. when listening.

The amazing Swedish pop duo Niki & The Dove are set to release their debut LP Instinct on May 14 via Mercury/Sub Pop and a few weeks ago their most recent single "Tomorrow" premiered on Annie Mac's radio show. Today a wonderful video for the track was unveiled as well, featuring Niki & The Dove vocalist Malin Dahlström as an astronaut. Among other things. Watch it below.

Watch: Ikons - "Sister" (official video)
Ikons return with a brand new track called "Sister" following "Free Spirit", which made its way online a couple of weeks ago. It's a great track so go ahead and watch the video below, it features nuns and premiered on The Line of Best Fit moments ago. Both "Sister" and "Free Spirit" are taken from Ikons upcoming album Life Rhythm, out via Service on May 1.

Dinosaur Jr. leader J Mascis is extremely productive for being a slacker icon huh? This time he's back with a instrumental project called Heavy Blanket with two old high school friends, Pete Cougar and Johnny Pancake, and they're set to release their self-titled debut on May 8 via Outer Battery. Check out a first track from the album called "Dr. Marten’s Blues" below, featuring Mascis' trademark guitarwork.

Listen: Japandroids - "The House That Heaven Built"
Well, I hadn't heard a single Japandroids track until a couple of minutes ago - just read the name here and there - but their new single "The House That Heaven Built" is just mind-blowing. It's taken from their upcoming second album Celebration Rock which will be released on May 14 via Polyvinyl Record Co. Listen to "The House That Heaven Built" below. It's just great.
Listen: The Men - "A Minor"
Brooklyn's The Men released one of the best records of this year so far with Open Your Heart a couple of weeks ago and they will contribute one previously unreleased song to their label Sacred Bones' Record Store Day compilation. The compilation is called Sacred Bones Presents: Todo Muere Volume 2 and The Men contribute the eight minute long "A Minor".
MP3: Moonface - "Headed For The Door"
Spencer Krug (Wolf Parade/Sunset Rubdown) are set to release a second album with his solo project Moonface on April 16 in the UK and April 17 in the US via Jagjaguwar, following 2011's Organ Music Not Vibraphone Like I'd Hoped. This time it's not really a solo project though as he's backed by the Finnish band Siinai throughout the LP, which is aptly called With Siinai: Heartbreaking Bravery.
MP3: Ty Segall & White Fence - "I Am Not A Game"
I don't think I've mentioned it on here previously but two of the best garage rock acts today, Ty Segall and White Fence, are releasing a collaborative LP titled Hair on April 24 via Drag City. Amazing news for any fan of garage rock and today they unveiled a first taste from the LP in the form of "I Am Not A Game". "I Am Not A Game" is a great track with a very '60s garage rock-inspired sound - ie just what you'd expect and hope for from the duo. Give it a listen below.

The Tallest Man On Earth announce new album for June 11
This is pretty much the most exciting news in forever: The Tallest Man On Earth will be releasing his third full-length record on June 11 in the UK and June 12 in the US via Dead Oceans. The record will be called There's No Leaving Now will feature ten brand new tracks and for the first time he'll utilize a bassist and a drummer on record (on five and two tracks respectively).

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about Fanzine's upcoming 7" single "L.A.", which will be the second release on the newly started Best Fit Recordings, and today they shared the b-side for "L.A."; "Houses Fall". It almost seems unnecessary to say but it's another excellent track from Fanzine who are seemingly unable to release anything less than 'great'.

Listen: Best Coast - "The Only Place"
Best Coast are releasing their second album The Only Place via Wichita Recordings on May 14 and they've now unveiled the first teaser from the album in the form of the title track "The Only Place". "The Only Place" finds the band turning the pop up and features cleaner production than Crazy For You did courtesy of Jon Brion. It's very good. Listen to it below.

Hot Chip to Way Out West
Last week Way Out West started the week by announcing a couple of more acts for the Stay Out West club program, including Korallreven, Josh T. Pearson and Bob Mould play Sugar. The Swedish indie pop outfit Happy Hands Club are set to release their debut record Parking Lot on April 18 via Luxury, and today they released the first single from it; "Garden of Eden". Parking Lot follows the seven-piece's self-titled debut EP from last year, and "Garden of Eden" is a fine taste from what will surely be a record to remember.
