London act Torches released one of our favourite singles this year in their debut single "Sky Blue & Ivory" / "Silent Film", which was released in July via Fractions Of One. Now they're back with a new track titled "Twenty & Two Zeros" and wouldn't you know, it's just as good as "Sky Blue & Ivory". Give it a listen below, plus check out FOE's remix of "Silent Film" as well.

The Canadian indie rock duo Japandroids' have released one of the year's absolute best records in the anthemic Celebration Rock and yesterday the video for lead single "The House That Heaven Built" was premiered on Pitchfork. We've been a bit inactive for the past couple of days due to the Way Out West festival in Gothenburg, but now we're back - and so is Ty Segall. Segall's third LP of the year, Twins, is set for release on October 9 via Drag City - following the Ty Segall/White Fence collaboration LP Hair in April and the Ty Segall Band LP Slaughterhouse in June. Today "Hills", the first single to be taken from Twins, was unveiled and it's great little '60s style garage tune - as is to be expected from Segall. The 7" will be released on September 4.
